Visto che finalmente l’opprimente calura estiva inizia ad allentare la presa, dandoci la possibilità di respirare da entrambi i lati dell’oceano Atlantico, ho pensato di proporti oggi questo video in cui sono inciampato durante le mie scorribande quotidiane nei vicoli meno raccomandabili della rete (meglio noti come Reddit 😅). La signora in questa pubblicità spiega con accuratezza le varie caratteristiche di questa “dispensa fredda” (cold pantry) di quei tempi, e mi ha stupito che il nostro frigo moderno non ha neppure la metà delle funzioni di questo prodigio della tecnologia. Le mensole di vetro del nostro non scorrono mica, e non ci sono tutti questi comodi scomparti che tengono le verdure idratate ed il burro fresco.
